At times, a patient's needs may exceed the care that can be given in their home environment and admittance to an inpatient unit offers the continuance of the hospice plan of care. Hospice in His Hands has a 24 bed inpatient unit located in Madden, Mississippi . The Madden inpatient unit is the former Thaggard Hospital built in 1940.   The Madden unit has a beautiful décor promising a homelike setting and allows the patient and the family to remain as comfortable as possible throughout the last phases of life's journey. A staff of RN's, CNA's, and other team members offer the family and patient compassion when its needed the most. A chapel is available 24 hours a day for prayer, and Hospice in His Hands has an on staff Chaplain to help with spiritual needs that family members or patients may have.
